Things get weird between Teddy and Ceaser after Teddy is a no-show at Ceaser's press conference. Teddy started his music label and management company RGLR LVNG, and invested in a studio space. With the street life far behind him, Teddy is on a new level! He spent much of the pandemic growing his flourishing relationship with his wife and investing in music, his second love.
Teddy's role at Black Ink has changed over the years, from shop manager to VP of operations and now president, with financial investments in multiple Black Ink shops. Since then, he's always kept an eye out for his cousin Ceaser. It's always changing.Teddy, born and raised in the Bronx, New York, first came to Black Ink after distancing himself from life on the streets.
There's something about this city with all the cultures and it is like a melting pot. I always have to come back to New York, I make sure of it. I can never go anywhere else without getting home sick. The thing with New York is that it's just home," said Emanuel. While the business has grown tremendously over the year, nothing will ever beat having shops in New York for Emanuel. The Bronx native has over 10 tattoo shops nationwide and has seen the tattoo business dramatically change since he opened up his first spot. We were in a fight to save it and then this whole COVID thing happened."Įmanuel has taken his tattoo businesses all over the country to other big cities like Chicago, Houston and Milwaukee. A lot of people don't know that the whole 113th shop is gone. The world still hasn't gotten back to how it used to be. She had to go to the hospital and was put on a ventilator. My mom came up here and then she got sick. "It was horrible and I caught it in the beginning in March. "With that whole COVID thing, that was one of the scariest experiences ever," said Emanuel.
